Q: How do I report a police location?
A: Open the app and tap the "Report" button on the map. Confirm your current location or adjust the pin to the exact location, then submit your report. Your report will be shared with the community immediately.
Q: Why am I not receiving alerts?
A: Make sure you have granted location permissions to TicketSnipe:
- Go to Settings → TicketSnipe
- Tap "Location" and select "Always" or "While Using the App"
- Ensure notifications are enabled in Settings → Notifications → TicketSnipe
Q: Is this app legal to use?
A: Yes. TicketSnipe provides community-sourced traffic information to promote driver awareness and safety, similar to popular navigation apps like Waze and Google Maps. The app is intended for legal, informational purposes only. Always obey all traffic laws.
Q: How do I enable background location tracking?
A: To receive alerts while using other apps:
- Go to Settings → TicketSnipe → Location
- Select "Always" to allow background location access
- This enables alerts even when using navigation apps
Q: How long do reports stay active?
A: Police location reports automatically expire after a set time period to ensure accuracy. Only recent, relevant reports are shown to users.
Q: Can I delete my reports?
A: All reports are submitted anonymously and cannot be traced back to individual users. Reports expire automatically. If you need assistance, contact our support team.
Q: Does the app work offline?
A: TicketSnipe requires an internet connection to receive real-time community reports and submit new reports. Make sure you have cellular data or Wi-Fi enabled.
Q: How do I enable Live Activities on my lock screen?
A: Live Activities show nearby alerts on your lock screen and Dynamic Island (iPhone 14 Pro and newer). They are automatically enabled when you start the app. You can disable them in Settings → TicketSnipe.
Q: How do I delete my data?
A: TicketSnipe does not store personal user data. All reports are anonymous and location-based. To stop using the app and remove all data, simply delete it from your device.

A: TicketSnipe requires:
- iOS 17.0 or later
- iPhone or iPad
- Internet connection (cellular or Wi-Fi)
- Location services enabled
