To provide our core service of alerting you to nearby traffic enforcement locations, we collect:
- Your GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude) - Used to determine your current location and calculate distance to reported enforcement areas
- Location updates - Collected in real-time while the app is active to provide timely alerts
Important: Your personal location history is not stored on our servers. We only use your location temporarily to calculate distances.
1.2 User-Submitted Reports
When you report a traffic enforcement location, we store:
- GPS coordinates of the reported location (latitude and longitude)
- Timestamp when the report was created
- Expiration time when the report will be automatically removed
Note: Reports are anonymous and contain no identifying information about the person who submitted them.
2. What We DO NOT Collect
We want to be transparent about what we don't collect:

4.1 Location Reports
- Stored on secure servers hosted by Railway (cloud infrastructure)
- Kept indefinitely to maintain historical enforcement pattern data
- Automatically marked as expired after the specified time period
- Contains no personally identifiable information
4.2 Your Personal Location
- Processed in real-time only while the app is active
- Not stored on our servers
- Not linked to any user account or identifier
5. Data Security
We implement security measures to protect your data:
- All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption
- Servers hosted on secure Railway infrastructure
- No user authentication required (no accounts = no account breaches)
- Anonymous reporting system prevents linking reports to individuals
6. Third-Party Services
Our app uses the following third-party services:
- Railway: Cloud hosting for our backend server
- OpenStreetMap / MapTiler: Map display and tiles
These services have their own privacy policies. We do not share your personal data with them beyond what's necessary for technical functionality.
7. Your Rights
Since we don't collect personally identifiable information, traditional data rights (access, deletion, etc.) don't apply in the usual way. However:
- You can stop location collection by closing the app
- You can uninstall the app at any time to cease all data collection
- Reports submitted are anonymous and cannot be traced back to you
8. Children's Privacy
Our app is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has used our app, please contact us.
